Coronation Street star Samia Smith, who plays Maria Connor, turned on the sparkle at the Longfield Centre, before signing autographs for fans.
Bury’s deputy mayor, Coun John Byrne, and MP for Bury South, Ivan Lewis, were also in attendance, and even Father Christmas made a special stop to bring some festive cheer.

English actress Samia Smith was snapped toting her 2-year-old daughter Freya onto the set of the ITV soap Coronation Street in Manchester, England on Monday (November 28).
The actress - who plays character Maria Connor on the program - made headlines early this year when she separated from her property developer husband Matthew Smith after six years of marriage and began dating her 34-year-old co-star Will Thorp within weeks of announcing the separation.
